ITINERARY

*This itinerary is designed to give you a rough idea about what to expect. the order of days might change, and the weather will ultimately guide what we are able to do

We will pick you up from Hobart, and drive roughly 3 hours to Coles Bay. We will take the ferry to Picnic Island and get comfortable, before beginning our first creative workshop.

We’ll share a delicious dinner together, and make time to get to know each other.

After an easy start to the day with a cooked breakfast and good coffee, we will take the Aqua Ferry to Freycinet National Park for a half day walk.

We will return to Picnic Island before nightfall to make the most of our secluded location at sunset, and for a delicious hot dinner.

Today we will spend the morning on the island, exploring our own creative practices.

Before saying goodbye to the Island and its population of penguins, we will do a showing of the work we have made over the weekend. Aqua Ferry transfers to Coles Bay will be followed by the long drive to Hobart where we will say our goodbyes.

Art Tours of Australia’s trips are very inclusive. We encourage solo travellers, small groups, families, and couples to join our trips. You can expect to travel with like minded environmentally conscious people, and if you’re lucky you’ll walk away with a couple of new friends.
